Editorial Guidelines

AI Course Rater exists to help readers find the best AI and machine-learning courses for their goals — not to chase commissions. These guidelines explain how we work and how we keep that promise.

Independence

Our rankings are based on hands-on evaluation of each course against a fixed criteria set: teaching quality, depth of practice, community and support, freshness of content, and real cost to the learner. We never accept payment to include a course in a ranked list, and we never let commission rates change the order.

Disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. When a reader signs up for a course through one of those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to them. Every page that contains affiliate links discloses that fact at the top, and our full affiliate disclosure is linked from every page of the site.

Evaluation process

Every ranked course is assessed against our rating methodology. We re-check rankings at least every six months — more often for fast-moving topics like LLMs and agents — and update articles with a visible "Last updated" date at the top of each post.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error, stale link, or outdated pricing, email editor@aicourserater.com and we'll fix it. We publish corrections inline with a note at the bottom of the affected article.

AI use

We use AI tools to draft and edit content. Every published piece is reviewed by a human editor against our evaluation criteria before it goes live.
